I Have a Drinking Problem!

The Lord placed this on my heart to share this with you and to be transparent with you. I want to confess something openly to you, I want to let you know that I Have a Drinking “Problem”!

It all started about 17 years ago. I picked up the full glass and drank from it. From that moment on, I was hooked, I couldn’t get enough. I found myself needing to drink from this cup more and more. And one day I realized that I was addicted to what was in the cup.

This drink that I am talking about is THE LIVING WATER …. who is JESUS! I can’t seem to kick this desire to drink and drink and drink to where I am so FULL with THE LIVING WATER!

The drink that I used to have when I was in the clubs and the bars could only be drunk until a limit. The old drink which is called “spirits” is dead and not Living. But this new drink that I cannot stop drinking … The Living Water, which is the True Spirit (John 7:39) is alive and living with No Limit.

With the old drink, it had the effect to make you dehydrated, but with the new drink it hydrates you and has an amazing power that causes you to thirst for many other things.

Since becoming a Living Waterholic I thirst for:

TRUTH
More Of JESUS
Serving Him
Holiness
Righteousness
Wisdom
Knowledge
Accountability
Fellowship

Also a thirst for helping others who are thirsty but can’t seem to find anything in this world that will quench that thirst …. those who don’t know about Living Water (Proverbs 25:21). By bringing the True Spirit with me wherever I go and be willing to share it with others so that they can be filled and get hooked on this Living Water. Also by bringing those who are physically thirsty a bottle of water (food, clothing, etc).

So there you have it … I came clean and shared with you my Drinking “Problem”, my addiction to LIVING WATER.” But I have to be honest, I do not plan on quitting anytime soon and I plan on being an influence on you and get you hooked on the LIVING WATER – JESUS CHRIST!
