Wow, 2011 gone already. With 2012 only a few days away we are already excited to see what the Lord assigns us to this new year, the opportunities that He brings, the doors He opens and the new relationships He brings us.
We are ready for new uploads of wisdom, knowledge and position in what He is calling us to do.
We are ready to go to the next level in our walk with the Lord, in our growth in Bible knowledge and having His character.
We are ready for a “2012 Spiritual Upgrade.” We are ready for the Lord to plug in His Holy USB Flash Drive into our Spiritual Port and upload into us more of His character, His wisdom, His knowledge, His holiness, His righteousness, His Holy spirit and His power. We are hungry for something more, something new in this new year of 2012.
With many churches and many Christians falling away from the Truth, we want more of the Truth. With many compromising just to be relevant, we want to stand firm. With many being timid and fearful of sticking up for Truth, we want to be filled with more boldness. And with many living and looking like the world just to be liked, we want to live like Christ and be separate & set apart from the world even if it means we will be unliked, unfriend or unfollowed.
To be able to do this we first need the Lord to do a full “spiritual virus scan” and delete any virus’s and infected programs found. Then He needs to do a clean up, then defragment our minds & our hearts and then upgrade our understanding, knowledge, character & wisdom.
With the hope of a new spiritual upgrade this year, we are hoping to be more effective for His Kingdom and to be able to lead many to His Son Jesus Christ.
We are hoping for more opportunities this year in the church to be discipled, to be mentored, to be trained for leadership and to help out in any way we can. We are hoping for many more opportunities outside of the church through local & international outreaches, missions and crusades.
We are also expecting and looking forward to new connections, new relationships and new partnerships to be able to come along side of each other as ecclesia (Gathering of Believers) for fellowship and to be DOERS of the word by giving to the poor, feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, clothing the naked, helping the widows and orphans, by ….. by BEING MORE LIKE JESUS!
With this new spiritual upgrade we will be fresh and filled with more of Him so that we will be able to pour out what He has uploaded into us so that many will benefit from our new upgrade, so MANY will get saved from spending eternity in hell and so that HE will get ALL THE GLORY!
